What Causes This Error?

This error occurs when Google encounters an unexpected issue while processing your product images. Typically, the issue resolves itself during the next re-crawl. However, if the problem persists, you may need to take action to ensure your images meet Google’s requirements.

Understanding Errors vs. Warnings

Before diving into the fix, it’s important to understand the difference between errors and warnings in Google Merchant Center:

Errors: Critical issues that prevent your products from being listed. If not fixed, they may lead to item disapproval or even account suspension.

Warnings: Less severe issues that won’t immediately disapprove your products but can impact ad performance over time.

Steps to Fix "Processing Failed [Image Link]"

If the error doesn’t resolve itself, follow these steps to fix it manually:

Step 1: Check Your Product Data

Ensure that each product in your feed has a valid image URL under these attributes:

image_link (Main product image)

additional_image_link (Any extra images)

Step 2: Update and Resubmit the Image

Upload a new version of the product image

Step 3: Use Manual Submit for Faster Processing

Click a "Manual Submit" option to force a re-crawl of the images. Otherwise, wait for Google to reprocess the images within 1-3 days.

By default, our app syncs new images every 8 hours. You can set a shorter sync schedule for faster updates. Learn how to adjust sync settings here .
