Before getting started, ensure you're subscribed to the appropriate Socialwidget Pricing Plan, as this feature is only available on certain plans.
To begin, you’ll need to set up your media source, which is the Instagram account content you'll be pulling into Socialwidget.
Navigate to the Media Source tab.
Click Add new Source.
Choose either Instagram Personal or Instagram Business.

Tip: If you've already connected your Instagram account for use in another widget (like the standard Instagram Feed), you can reuse that same media source without having to create a new one.
Once your media source is ready, it's time to create a gallery to store and manage your Instagram posts.
Go to the Gallery tab.
Click Add new Gallery.
Select Instagram Feed.
Input your gallery name, select the media source, and click OK.

Note: Like the Media Source, you can reuse an existing gallery from your Instagram Feed setup.
Only single images are supported in the Creative Feed—**videos and carousels will not appear**
To customize the image display order, use the "Pin" function.
Now for the fun part—designing your Instagram Creative Feed with a visually engaging widget.
Open the Widget tab.
Click Add new Widget.
Choose the Creative Feed option.

You’ll be able to select from 9 fixed widget templates, each with a unique style:
- Basic Grid – Classic, perfect for kids’ wear and accessories.
- No Gutter – Edgy and bold, great for sporty looks.
- Highlight – Vintage charm for accessories and collections.
- Slideshow – Showcase your most standout image.
- Collage 1–5 – Minimalist and modern, ideal for tech and outdoor products.

Each template allows different amounts of text and character limits. You can easily edit and adjust the layout using the available customization tools.

Reminder: Creative Feeds do not support hover effects to ensure a high-quality mobile-friendly display.
After setting up your widget, enhance its functionality by tagging products with Shoppable settings. This enables clickable hotspots and call-to-action (CTA) buttons directly on your images.

The process for tagging products or variants is the same as in the standard Instagram Feed. Simply select the image, apply your product tag, and your gallery becomes shoppable!
Setting up the Instagram Creative Feed with Socialwidget is a fantastic way to bring your brand to life with eye-catching, personalized visuals. Whether you prefer a minimal grid or a bold collage, the widget templates provide flexibility and style. Plus, with built-in product tagging, it’s easier than ever to turn social engagement into sales.
