Instagram Business Discovery is a feature that allows you to fetch media (photos and videos) from any public Instagram Professional account—whether it's a Business or Creator profile. This is especially useful if you want to monitor and reuse content from brand partners, influencers, or competitors.
Using Business Discovery offers several benefits:
Content Sourcing: Pull relevant and high-performing content from official brand accounts.
Brand Monitoring: Stay updated with your competitors or partners’ latest posts.
Automation: Reduce manual work by automatically syncing posts from custom profiles.
Go to Dashboard in Socialwidget then select Media Source.
Choose Add new source
Choose Instagram with Facebook page
Choose Custom Profile then Enter Profile name
Input the username of the Instagram Professional account you want to pull media from.
For example, if you want content from the brand BOSS, enter their official handle.
Make sure the Instagram account you want to connect is a Professional (Business or Creator) account and set to public.
This feature is only supported on the Advanced Plan. Make sure your subscription is up to date.
