How to fix common errors in Google Merchant Center (Unavailable Mobile Landing Page/ Unavailable Desktop Landing Page)
Unavailable Mobile Landing Page/ Unavailable Desktop Landing Page
For one or more of your products, you've submitted a landing page (via the link [link] attribute) that cannot be accessed by Google and may not be accessible to Google users. To avoid a bad user experience, Google might disable products that have an unavailable landing page. These products will stop showing in ads and free listings until Google can access the landing page. Please refer to this article for more information: HERE
To resolve this issue, identify and fix the error to make sure that your landing page is accessible from any device, location or browser. You can test your current configuration with the URL inspection tool
Go to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Click on the issue to see the list of affected items > Click on the title of the product that you want to fix, then click Need Attetion to see the solution that Google provide
If you believe all of your information is correct and Google might mistakenly crawl your items, you can click on I disagree with the issue to request the review
Some of the possible reasons related to this issue
Page not found (404 Error): It means your landing pages aren’t available anymore, your product was deleted or hidden from the store, but still hasn’t been deleted from the feed.
Solution: You can go to your feed and make sure these products are deleted. Since our app automatically sync products from your store, please help to wait a bit for the deleted products to be erased in-app
Could not connect (or HTTP 5xx response): It means when Google tries to access the landing page the server was not available (e.g. because of maintenance work)
Solution: Please check the disapproved products’ pages and see whether you can access them fine. . You should connect Shopify Support in this case.
DNS Error/Hostname not Resolvable/Timeout on DNS Lookup: It means there is something wrong with your domain's DNS (Domain Name System).
Solution: You will have to check if your DNS configuration is set up properly or DNS server is running properly. You should contact your Domain Registrar or DNS Host provider for configuring your DNS.
