How to downgrade the current plan with Shopify merchants
Downgrading your plan to a lower tier requires ensuring that the number of variants and feeds is within the limits of the selected plan. Additionally, advanced functions must be disabled to comply with the downgraded plan’s conditions. This guide provides a step-by-step process to review your current settings, reduce variations, disable advanced functions, and successfully downgrade your plan.
Review Your Current Features and Settings
Decrease the Quantity of Variants
Disable Advanced Functions
Finalizing the Downgrade

Depending on your current advanced features and the conditions of downgraded plan, the information in the popup notifications will be different.
If your current number of variants exceeds the limit of the downgraded plan, follow these steps to reduce them:
Go to Source Management.

Exclude products manually or by applying rules.

If you prefer, you can select products by collection.

If you receive a warning that prevents you from downgrading, check the number of activated feeds.

To resolve this, disable unused feeds in the Feed Center.
Certain advanced functions need to be turned off before you can downgrade. Follow these steps:
Adjust the Hourly Sync Schedule:
- Navigate to Source Management and change the schedule to weekly or daily.

Disable Product Source Filtering:
- Go to the Feed Center and turn off this feature.

Adjust the Hourly Feed Sync Schedule:
- Similar to source management, adjust the feed sync to weekly or daily.

Disable the Translation Feature:
- For Facebook Feeds, there is a dedicated button to disable translation.
- For Google Feeds, disabling translation will stop displaying the XML.

Once you have adjusted your settings to meet the downgraded plan’s limitations, return to the Pricing Plan tab and initiate the downgrade process again. If you still encounter issues, double-check the number of active feeds and variations to ensure they comply with the new plan’s limits.
Downgrading your plan requires careful adjustments to your active feeds, variations, and advanced functions. Note: If you were using the app before the Pricing Plan update in July 2021, your previously synced feeds and variants remain unchanged. However, if you upgrade to a paid plan and then attempt to downgrade to the free Starter Plan, we cannot revert to your previous feeds and variants. Ensure your feeds and variants fit the new plan’s limitations (1 enabled feed and 50 variants).
