# How to pin your media post

The Socialwidget app allows you to manage your media posts efficiently by pinning them, enabling you to rearrange their order. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to pin and unpin your media:

# 1. How to Pin Media Posts?

To Pin a Media Post, please follow the steps below. 

1. **Choose Gallery**
    Start by opening the Gallery in your Socialwidget app where all your media is displayed.
    
2. **Hover Over the Media**
    Move your mouse cursor over the media you wish to pin.
    
3. **Click on the Pin Icon**
    A pin icon will appear. Click on it to pin the media to the top of your gallery.
    
4. **Click Save**
    After clicking the pin icon, make sure to click "Save" to confirm the changes.

5. **Unpin Media**
    If you want to unpin your media, simply click the Pin icon again.

6. **View Pinned Media**
    To see which media is currently pinned, go to the **Pin** tab.

This function allows you to select which media you’d like to display by pinning it at the top of your gallery.

# 2. How to use Hide and Show functions.
 
You can also choose which media should be visible or hidden from your gallery with the hide/show functions.

#### Hide Media

1. **Choose Gallery**
    Navigate to your Gallery where all your media is stored.
    
2. **Hover Over the Media**
    Move your mouse over the media you want to hide.
    
3. **Turn Off Show Icon**
    You will see a "Show" icon. Click on it to hide the media from being displayed.

#### Show Media

1. **Choose Hidden Tab**
    Go to the **Hidden** tab to view the media you’ve hidden.
    
2. **Hover Over the Media**
    Move your cursor over the media you want to show again.
    
3. **Turn Off Hide Icon**
    Click on the "Hide" icon to unhide the media.

4. **Click on Ellipsis (...)**
    For additional options, click on the ellipsis (three dots) below the action.
    
5. **Choose the Option**
    Select the option that best suits your needs.

| Before removing a gallery, make sure to remove any widgets associated with it.
